Businesses today are constantly being disrupted, it is no longer something that is unexpected, rather it is a constant that should be known. Lady Shayo, as she is popularly called, is a keen trend watcher and very passionate about strategy development, execution, innovation and creative thinking as well as leadership and self-development.

Shayo has over 30 years of experience in finance, auditing, compliance, consultancy,  business development and strategy. Her career has taken her through almost every industry in Nigeria, including marketing communications & media, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), oil and gas, finance, hospitality, insurance, just to mention a few.

​

Shayo has had the privilege of working at the corporate offices of two of Nigeria’s foremost conglomerates, where she worked in an executive capacity with oversight responsibilities providing support on strategy development, performance management and operational, financial and regulatory compliance.

Lady Shayo is a self-motivated change agent with strong strategic and entrepreneurial skills. She is driven by a passion to add value and facilitate positive change, this leads her to constantly look for new and better ways of doing things.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (FSM), and holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Cape Town South Africa. She is a trained and seasoned management consultant and has completed several executive management courses from other Business Schools such as the Lagos Business School where she did the Advanced Management Program and also Harvard Business School where she completed a course in Disruptive Strategy.

Lady Shayo sits on the Board of several companies in Nigeria and the United Kingdom providing strategic and financial advice and direction to the management teams.

​

Shayo is a seasoned public speaker, facilitator, trainer and conference host. She is currently a guest lecturer at the Lagos Business School, School of Management for the Executive MBA (EMBA), Chief Executive Program (CEP), Advanced Management and Senior Management programs (AMP and SMP). 

​

Her major topics are; strategy, innovation, leadership, public speaking and executive development.
